we are continuously working to select only the top quality animals based on performance data, conformation, and productivity and are committed to raising only healthy, high quality, productive sheep. As a founding member of the Charollais Sheep Breeders Society we are confident in the long term role this exceptional breed will play in the sheep industry.

All of our purebred Charollais lambs are ultrasounded for Back Fat and Loin Eye Muscle Depth as part of the Sire Reference Program. This data is used to develop a Lean Growth Index which we use along with evaluation of conformation and productivity to select our replacement stock. Only animals good enough for us to keep are offered for sale.

We purchased our first Charollais ram in 1997. Willie (BCP 9E) has since proven himself time and again. Whether used to cover commercial ewes, purebred Charollais ewes, or ewe lambs, his offspring are vigorous and easily lambed. They show the superior carcass traits and rapid rate of gain so typical of the Charollais breed. We have since added several new bloodlines via AI with semen imported from the UK Sire Reference Program. Together with the purchase of Top Indexing semen and rams from Canadian Charollais breeders.

Each fall we run an Embryo Transfer Program for our Charollais and will take orders for bred recipient ewes and / or frozen embryos. Frozen semen is also available from select rams.

Our flock is certified at Level "A" with the Western Canadian Flock Health Program developed by the Alberta Sheep and Wool Commission. We have maintained a test negative status for OPP for 5+ years. We have biosecurity protocols in place to maintain our health status.

Charollais sired lambs are well accepted by lamb feedlot owners and they grade very well at processing plants.

We also run a flock of purebred Romonov ewes and provide crossbred ewe lambs to commercial producers. Visitors and inquiries are always welcome!
